Walmart, Best Buy & Ribs.

What do all these things have in common???
THEY ARE AWESOME!

So after the best nights sleep we have possibly every had we went to the great store known as Walmart. I have never seen things so cheap in my life....
Mack razor with 3 extra heads - $5
Colgate whitening toothpaste - $2.77
Deodorant- $1.88
50 Full Size Mars bars - $10!
And the list goes on and on.
Walmart is basically 10 of our stores combined and a million times better than all of them.

Walmart is so huge it even has it's own McDonalds inside.
But Walmart wasn't the best thing we saw today........

Today I purchased Udder Cream  for $2.83 for my dry feet. Now this cream may have originally been made for cow udders but I have no intention for using it on cows or my own udders.

After our adventure in Walmart we went to Best Buy to try and get a sim card for our phone (which we didn't end up getting because all the prepaid plans suck, so we will suss it out more in Vancouver city tomorrow).
Now we think Best Buy resembles JB HI FI... what do you think??

After shopping Jill & Fred drove us down to Steveston which is where all the fishing boats come in.
It was a super pretty little town full of cute dogs and yummy fish & chips.

We had some of the best handcut chips ever, sat by the water and enjoyed the sunshine.

Kristian, Jill & I in Steveston

Hanging around while Jill & Fred buy a huge fish.

This photo is on here just to embarrass Jill :)

In Canada this amount of Fries only costs $2.75, and they were crazy delicious!

So after a nice time exploring Steveston and spending a lot of time in peak hour traffic we finally got back to the Condo where Jill had cooked us ribs for dinner.... which were of course amazingly delicious.

Tonight's spread for dinner. Thanks Jill :)

So as you can tell we have had an amazing first two days in Canada and it is only going to get so much better.
Tonight we found out that Vancouver Canucks are playing San Jose (Kristian's Team) in the first Pre-season game on Monday night in Vancouver... so of course we bought tickets! $50 each and 5 rows from the front... so needless to say Kristian is incredibly excited as am I.

Tomorrow Fred & Jill are taking us into Vancouver city to our hostel, then taking us for a drive around Stanley Park which will be lovely.

Anyway off to watch some TV now and straighten my hair with my new "flat iron" from Walmart.

Hope you're all well and sending our love to John.

Lauren and Kristian
=)
