Montreal

Sorry that we are so far behind. We were meant to do this post a couple of days ago but we couldn't seem to find anywhere in Boston. Anyway we are now in the incredible New York City but more on that later.
For now I will post a whole bunch of photos of our time in Montreal.

On one of our first nights in Montreal we managed to score some relatively cheap tickets to the Montreal vs Philadelphia game which I (lauren) was extremely happy about. Going into the game we knew the Montreal supporters were crazy but nothing could prepare us for actually how crazy they were. We got some of it on video so you will all have to have a watch when we get back.

The opening puck drop. Unfortunately phily lost but it was interesting to see how the crowd reacted when Montreal won. 

Montreal is known for its smoked meat and above is a smoked meat sandwich in which you can get at most places in  Montreal. Kristian just managed to chow this monster down..... just.

Meet Bubbles, our lovely Air bnb hosts cat. She was super cheeky and made our stay even more great than it already was.

Whilst in Montreal we went to the Biodome, which is kind of an indoor zoo which showed all of Canada's different regions and habitats. Above is a porcupine.

We got to see a mumma Lynx, her little cubs were hiding somewhere.

We also got to see a whole heap of penguins which were hilarious to watch.

This is Notre Dame. Montreal is 'french' remember.

Sorry for this being so brief but the computer we are using is about a century old and has taken 30 or so minutes just to upload the above photos. Normally we wouldn't mind it taking so long but it is costing us money.
When we get to a REAL hotel in a couple of days they should have a business centre so we will be able to post some photos of the lovely Boston.
